A slightly longer hike but no less scenic is a walk along the coast to Thorpeness or jump in the car for days out to places such as Clare Castle Park, Go Ape Thetford, Somerleyton Hall, Bewilderwood and RSPB Minsmere.

Towns worth visiting while you are in Suffolk include Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Southwold and Saxmundham.
