The northern part of the island, which is seven kilometers long and three kilometers wide, is a popular nature reserve with many hiking trails, old beech trees and protected flowers, including a very rare orchid. Hike to the highest point on the island, Ivö Klack, and visit the disused limestone and kaolin quarry. Perhaps you will find a fossil? A free car ferry will take you to the mainland, where you can continue your adventure. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a restaurant on the island. If you are looking for more experiences, you can drive to Kristianstad. Sea lovers will appreciate the beautiful beach at Åhus.
