Casa Azul is the left-hand living unit of Finca Pino Gordo.
It measures 42 m² and is a generously laid-out, light-flooded studio apartment.
The furniture is made of light, naturally finished solid wood, and the country-style curtains are blue-beige with delicate green accents.
A wide window front with large sliding glass doors fills the room with light, and when the sliding doors are fully opened, the apartment transitions almost seamlessly onto the long, large balcony.
For sun protection, there are long curtains as well as external sliding doors with louvers.
The sleeping area consists of a double bed with two 80 cm wide mattresses.
The open-plan wooden kitchen is extended by a large, round glass table with four chairs.
This kitchen only has a small hob with two electric plates, but it is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils.
The bathroom with a toilet and window has a shower with a seat.
A set of toiletries is provided upon arrival.
This living unit has an electric heater for cold evenings, or alternatively, a large, rollable gas heater.
As in the other Casas, the floor is tiled.
At the window, there is a three-seater couch with a pull-out function, offering a sleeping option for a potential third person.
TV, radio, and CD player are available, as well as books and games.
The balcony is equipped with sun loungers and a dining table with four chairs.
A fruit basket, a bottle of sparkling wine, some treats, and fresh flowers are provided as a welcome gift.
A starter set is available with: coffee grounds, filter papers, sugar, salt and pepper, vinegar, and oil.
The shared pool offers a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean, the rising sun, and the surrounding gentle nature.
A large stone grill is available for barbecue enthusiasts; the pool is neither fenced nor supervised.

Sun loungers with cushions are available by the pool, and there is a large marble table with chairs by the grill for perfect barbecue evenings.

The finca was formerly a small rural farm used for agriculture, with fruit, wine, and vegetable cultivation at an altitude of 490 meters above the small village of La Sabinita in the southeast of Tenerife.
The terrain has been left in its original form.
The current orchard was also previously an area for fruit and wine cultivation.
Where the three Casas stand today, there was a small utility building, and in the current lower pool garden, vegetables were grown.
At the current entrance area of the finca stands the namesake of the finca, the very old and nature-protected Pino Gordo.
The paths and dry stone walls were built in the island's typical style and using landscape-typical materials.
This has preserved the rustic character of the entire property.
A very special tip for the dreamlike summer season at our finca: Around August 13th, provided it is a new moon and cloudless, you can experience one of nature's most exciting wonders.
Around 2 AM, stars rain down.
The Perseid meteor shower is a shooting star display that can be experienced more or less worldwide on this night, provided there is a new moon and absolute darkness.
Our Finca Pino Gordo is the true place to experience this natural wonder, as it is located away from everything and in the dark.
Those who look up at the sky around 2 AM can experience the Milky Way opening up and the Perseids showering down.
The finca is only 2.3 km from the village of Arico Viejo.
There are shops, a gas station, a medical center, a pharmacy, and restaurants in the traditional local ambiance.
It is 11 km to Abades by the sea, with its beautiful sandy beach and a diving school, and also to El Poris by the sea.
Around the small village of ARICO, climbing enthusiasts will find a variety of climbing walls and canyons.
The Casas Finca Pino Gordo are particularly attractive for climbers of all levels, as only a few kilometers away are two famous and challenging climbing areas and canyons with heights of up to 35 meters.
