Pech Rasquet: peace and quiet guaranteed! Immersed in the heart of nature on the Causses, you'll discover a diversity of flora and fauna and a starry sky. The ideal place to get back to basics! For hiking enthusiasts, you're close to one of the Santiago de Compostela routes and, for the more adventurous, the paragliding runway (1km). In Cajarc (5km), with its restaurants and small shops, you can go canoeing, pedal-boating and potholing. Ideally situated near Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and not far from the Aveyron (6km) to discover the many landscapes, villages, rivers and châteaux that surround you! The outdoor area around the gîte includes the private swimming pool (10 x 5 with a gentle slope from 1m20 to 1m80 deep) secured by a low wall, a gate and an alarm with sun loungers, parasols and a shower. There are garden furniture, two hammocks and a petanque area near the gîte. An 18th century building, recently totally renovated, the gîte offers a 24 m² attic living room with a sitting area (stove not usable) leading onto a terrace with table and parasol. The entrance door opens onto the dining area and the recently fitted kitchen is well equipped and integrated. The bedrooms can be accessed from the living room on the first floor (staircase) or from outside via French windows with shutters: 1 master bedroom (1 double bed (160cm)) with its own shower room (shower, basin, wc) and laundry area (washing machine, freezer); 1 bedroom (2 single beds (90cm) that can be made into a double bed (180cm)) with en suite bathroom (basin, small bath, wc). Electric heating and wifi fibre access. Communal enclosed grounds of 3.25 hectares, slightly sloping and surrounded by low walls and fencing. The owners' house is on the same property but is not overlooked (not always the case on site).
