Whether it's spring, which starts later here but awakens everything to life rapidly, summer with its endless warm midsummer nights, autumn with its infinite variety of berries and mushrooms, or winter, which is anything but dark and captivates you daily with its pleasantly dry cold, the sparkling snow, the bright nights, days full of pastel colors in the sky, or the indescribably beautiful auroras that regularly dance in the sky at night... But also the feeling this country radiates... the endless expanses... kilometers without houses and empty roads along lakes, through pristine forests and endless nature where you might not encounter a car for kilometers.

A country where you feel time passes more slowly... you perceive and feel nature and the moment completely differently... a feeling that recharges your soul and your mind enjoys the silence and peace, and you simply want to dwell in the moment.

In harmony with nature... nowhere have I experienced such respect for nature & animals as here.

You immerse yourself in another world, a slow and peaceful one where you can unwind, whether by the lake after a sauna, at a campfire, hiking with your four-legged friend or family, or simply gazing into the distance... an endless opportunity for year-round recreational activities that make every day here unforgettable and special, and you will experience the meaning of "blown away" and merging with nature on a completely different level! And before I gush any further, let me first introduce you to our beautiful farm in North Karelia where ALL are warmly welcome! Your four-legged friends are also welcome, whether dogs, cats, or horses; whether one dog or 20 makes no difference to us, and you can be absolutely honest with us and will not be judged! Your four-legged friends will NOT be charged extra! The farm consists of the main house, which is 170sqm and spread over 2 floors.

It has been freshly renovated and is currently being redecorated in a colonial style, and we naturally pay attention to an extra dog sofa or child-friendly furnishings to ensure all needs are met! It can accommodate up to 12 people! It has a large American kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an absolute rarity, a second bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and a second toilet! Of course, there is also a typical outdoor sauna! Several large brick Finnish fireplaces are also a must for the right cozy and warm atmosphere and invite rustic cooking! In addition, there is an air heat pump and underfloor heating.

An outbuilding with stables also welcomes our equine guests! And of course, one of the absolute highlights: a 5000sqm garden, 1.20m high and fenced to be dog-proof, awaits you! And another 5000sqm of endless meadows and forests surrounding the house! Another highlight is the sandy beach on the lake, which is in the immediate vicinity (500m)! And sandy beaches on lakes are not a given here.

Of course, there is also a BBQ hut, typically Finnish, for everyone to use! So, a little paradise awaits you with only one neighbor in an otherwise idyllic, secluded natural setting in North Karelia, not far from the large city of Joensuu.

You are centrally located yet absolutely one with nature and its charms. We will gradually add to the text and upload more pictures once fully furnished and are already looking forward to potentially welcoming you to our cozy cottage in the future! For cozy vacation moments, the fireplace is just the thing. The well-equipped kitchen includes, among other things, a refrigerator, a stove for cooking, and even a dishwasher. In the accommodation, you will also find a washing machine that you can use. A parking space is available for our guests.

Our holiday home is child-friendly: a baby cot and high chair are available.

The accommodation is ideally located for beach lovers. This is also great: bed linen and towels are included.

Pets are allowed in this holiday home. Own dog bed and dog sofa included! Lake in immediate vicinity! ---------------------------------------- Water is free from its own well.

Electricity consumption of up to 50 Euros is included.
