Not far from the famous village of Polignano a Mare you will find wonderful and evocative places to visit, rich in art and culture, natural beauty and unique culinary experiences. The first is Monopoli, a town on Apulia's Adriatic coast famous for its enchanting beaches, such as Cala Porta Vecchia and Cala Porto Bianco. Its harbour welcomes colourful fishing boats, while the historical centre with its cobbled streets and the Cathedral of the Madonna della Madia enchant visitors.
Nestled in southern Apulia is Conversano and its majestic Aragonese Castle, the historical symbol of the town. The historic centre is a blend of history and tradition, while the surrounding countryside offers breathtaking scenery. Conversano celebrates its history with cultural events, including the Festival of Ancient Music, which gives visitors an authentic experience of Apulian history and culture.
Bari airport is a 40-minute drive away, while Brindisi airport is a 1-hour drive away.
