There are several activities and sights to discover in and around Merksplas. Explore the Merksplas Kolonie, a former vagrants' colony, now a nature reserve with footpaths and historical buildings. Also fun to explore by bike: for example, follow the signposted Landlopersroute right through Merksplas Kolonie. Visit the weekly markets in nearby towns and villages, such as Turnhout, Hoogstraten and Rijkevorsel, to discover local products and crafts


Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine.
For reasons of tranquillity, reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted.
Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house.
