Come and stay in the beautiful valley of Gavaudun, at the gateway to the Dordogne, where the Domaine du Mayne, a vast 30-hectare property, is home to the gîte "Le Châtaignier", a fully restored, very well-equipped rental property with its own private swimming pool and terrace.


During your stay, you can also explore the towns of Villeneuve-sur-Lot or Agen and spend some quality time with the family at Walygator or Aqualand.

Also explore the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and take a stroll along one of the many footpaths or cycle routes. And after discovering the hidden treasures of Lot-et-Garonne, enjoy a day in the Dordogne.

For your arrival
- Electricity consumed in addition (fixed rate of 8KWH per day i.e. 56KWH per week) is not included in the rates and will be paid for on site in addition after the meters have been read (according to the amount of the price per KWH indicated on the bill).

- A deposit of 300€ must be paid to the owner on arrival.

- Sheet hire: 8€ per pair, bed not made up or 10€ bed made up.

- Household linen: provided free of charge.

- Bathroom linen: not provided, to be organised by the customer.

- Cot on request. Baby sheets not provided.

- Compulsory cleaning at the end of the stay: €60. If pets present: €70.

- Additional wood heating charge if used in mid and low season: €30/week.

- Additional estimated heating charge in low season: €50/week.


Pool information: Private pool 8.50m x 3m, 0.90 to 1.40m deep, secured by shutter cover. Pool open from May to September.
