Welcome to our favourite boat Xanten 4.
We are the new ones: Sabine, Jochen and Uwe.
Since 01.09.2024 we have captained the Xanten 4 and fulfilled a dream that we are happy to share with you.
Unfortunately, we have had to exclude pets due to allergies.
We have already renovated many things on board with great pleasure and are still enthusiastic about it. Just take a look at the latest pictures.
For example, you will now find a large sun shell on the terrace where you can enjoy the wonderful view.
For us, our favourite boat is always a floating retreat where time pauses and the soul finds peace.
Maybe it will also become your personal little paradise far away from everyday life, with time to dream and relax. In any case, we wish you a wonderful time and

The Xanten 4 is available for hire all year round.
Living area approx. 44 sqm, usable area approx. 65 sqm,
furnished terrace on the bow 15 sqm + additional roof terrace 25 sqm, length approx. 13.50 m; width approx. 6.00 m

The Xanten 4 is designed and furnished in a modern nave style. It has a spacious living area with an integrated, well-equipped kitchenette and direct access to the 15 square metre terrace at the bow, as well as two bedrooms.
The bathroom with shower and a WC with washbasin are located separately.
On the roof, a 25 square metre terrace offers additional sunbathing space.

The FLOATING in Xanten have been let since 2014 and have air conditioning with integrated hot-air heating. Generous window fronts provide a view of the surrounding water areas. The windows are fitted with pleated blinds to provide privacy.

Living and dining: spacious seating area with a cosy sofa bed (can be pulled out) and a dining table for 4 people

Kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, fridge (with freezer compartment), ceramic hob with 2 hotplates, mini oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, sink
(The kitchen is integrated into the living area)

Sleeping: sleeping facilities for 4 people: 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (200 x 160 cm).
Bed linen included.

Bathroom: Shower-bathroom, separate WC with washbasin incl. Towel set per person/week (1 terry towel & 1 shower towel)

Outdoor area: 15 sqm terrace at the bow, furnished + roof terrace 25 sqm, car park at the harbour (approx. 30 m to the jetty)
Storage facilities for bicycles or similar. on land (in locked building)

General: Air conditioning with hot air heating, satellite TV on flat screen, DVD and / or CD player (not available on all FLOATING), radio (possibly only available via the TV).

WLAN: The owners provide all guests with WLAN reception via LTE. You will receive the code from the caretaker upon handover. Depending on usage, the WiFi connection may be subject to availability fluctuations.

Note: Arrival is possible between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm. For arrivals after 5.30 pm, a surcharge of € 25.00 (payable on site) will be charged.

Tourist tax of the city of Xanten: One adult person pays € 2.60 per night, one reduced person (children 7-16 years, severely disabled persons from 80 %) € 1.30 per night.
Children up to 6 years are exempt from the tourist tax.

The moored houseboats are an ideal domicile for all those who love the special atmosphere on the water, ... and yet want to stay on land.

The furnishings are exemplary, technical changes and deviations in the equipment are possible.
