A picturesque cascade of a 60-meter waterfall makes the hamlet of Glandieu famous. This is an important starting point for hikes. The cottage is just 10 minutes from the Viarhôna cycle path, accessible by a direct path. Also, a paragliding take-off point on the heights of our hamlet.
You are less than a quarter of an hour by car from Walibi Park.
The house is on the Bugey tourist route. You will thus set off to discover its vineyards – Roussette, Mondeuse – and the typical villages of Dauphiné. You will probably go to the Grand Colombier, which owes its fame to the Tour de France.
On the border of 3 departments, the Cascade cottage is the central place for discovering the many lakes in the region: Romagneu, Paladru, Ambléon, Aiguebelette, Vallée bleue, Le Bourget... In fine weather, we will show you the many swimming and water sports sites. Finally, we cannot recommend highly enough a visit to the place of history and reflection in Izieu, less than 10 minutes from the house.
