Villa Drahnet-Zervudachi (La Villa del Pascià): In 1849, the Egyptian Pasha Drahnet-Zervudachi built a magnificent villa in Oggebbio and designed the accompanying park entirely in the Arabic style.
The Pasha, who was a high dignitary at the court of the Egyptian Viceroy Pasha Ismail and is rumored to have become very wealthy through a lucky inheritance, created an island of the Orient on Lake Maggiore here between the green of the mountains and the blue of the water.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, Balkon mit super Aussicht.
Keine Klimaanlage da wird es bei Hitze schnell zu warm, vor allem in der Nacht, da hilft auch kein offenes Fenster. Es gab leider auch keinen Lüfter oder Ventilator.
Die Anlage hat sehr steile Wege und viele Treppen was den Gepäcktransport sehr erschwert, das war in der Beschreibung nicht ersichtlich, man muss topfit sein.

Das Appartement war hell und sehr freundlich eingerichtet. Der Blick von der Terrasse war sehr schön. Da das Appartement sehr hoch liegt, hört man keinen Straßenlärm.
Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön und sehr gepflegt.
Sie wird allerdings nur durch eine Hecke von der Straße getrennt
Eine so gepflegte Anlage, benötigt Gärtner, die unermüdlich mit Freischneider und Laubbläser unterwegs sind.
Durch die anhaltenden hohen Temperaturen am Tag, war es leider auch Nachts nicht unter 26 Grad im Appartement.
