The living space of the tastefully and modernly furnished Rustico, approx. 90 m², is spread over 3 levels connected by a spiral staircase.
In the rooms, you will find various traces from past times, such as the 15th-century wall fresco in the living room or the stone incisions on the 1st floor.
These probably date back to the 11th century when the Rustico was part of a fortress.
Cross and snake were important pagan symbols at that time.
The figure of the tree man is even the symbol of the "Val Grande" National Park today.
In the immediate vicinity, there are varied hiking trails from which you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.
In less than 10 minutes, you can reach a public beach on foot, and in just under 5 minutes by car, you can reach the beautiful public beach of Cannero.
The town center as well as the magnificent lake promenade of the picturesque village with inviting cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops are about 2 km away.
Free public parking is located about 50 m above the house, meaning you cannot drive directly to the Rustico and will walk the remaining 50 m.

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie eine schöne Woche in der Wohnung verbracht. Es war alles da was wir gebraucht haben. Dass die Wendeltreppe alle drei Stockwerke und Zimmer mit einander offen verbindet hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Für den ein oder anderen mag es aber vorab wissenswert sein.
