Pedregalejo, old fishermen's neighbourhood in the eastern part of Malaga. Pedregalejo has historically been the sum of two neighbourhoods: Pedregalejo and Valle de los Galanes. Nowadays, however, Pedregalejo is the name given to the whole area between the Baños del Carmen and the Arroyo Jaboneros, including the beaches of Pedregalejo and Las Acacias. It is only a 10-minute drive from the city centre and is possibly one of the areas of Malaga with the most beach bars and terraces by the sea.
