Known throughout the world as the city built on water, due to its construction on 100 islands in the lagoon, Venice is one of the most popular Italian locations for world tourism.
It can be defined as an open-air museum, thanks to its numerous historical and artistic testimonies preserved and represented by the numerous churches, palaces, and museums.
Walking around Venice is like taking a plunge into the past; the so-called calli (streets) are dotted and framed by aristocratic buildings such as the Doge's Palace, the historical home of the Doges, spectacular bridges including the famous Rio Alto Bridge, and canals navigable by gondolas, waterbuses and boats of all kinds.
The heart of the city is the enchanting St. Mark's Square, home to the Basilica of the same name, which welcomes thousands of tourists from all over the world every day.
The most prominent event of the place is certainly the Carnival, which attracts the attention of most world travellers, thanks to its centuries-old tradition of masks and costumes that liven up the streets every year.
Finally, an activity not to be missed if you decide to visit this magnificent and evocative location is without a doubt the famous "Bàcaro Tour", a typical initiative that involves tourists in a tour of Venetian taverns to the sound of glasses of typical wine and cicheti, i.e. small tasty morsels.
The hotel is located in the main street of Venice called Strada Nova, which connects the Santa Lucia train station to Rialto and then ends in Campo dei Santi Apostoli. The location is optimal, convenient for reaching the station and Piazzale Roma thanks to the various means of transport.

Location couldnt have been better. We took the train in to Venezia S. Lucia and were able to walk to here in minutes. The property being right on the grand canal was simply gorgeous and so peaceful. Despite being right off of Fondamenta Dei Scalzi, it was quiet and lovely. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Parfait mais pas de vaisselle pour se faire à manger et pas de ronds de poêle ni four, un lavabo et un micro ondes
