Our well-kept and quiet guesthouse with family atmosphere is located on the edge of the forest at the foot of Grünstein and Watzmann, but in a central location. Bus stop and restaurants are only 5 minutes away. Hiking trails lead you directly from the house, for example to the Grünstein or the Watzmann. Schönau am Königssee and Berchtesgaden offer a variety of attractive possibilities for your undertakings, such as the salt mine, the Jennerbahn or the Königsseeschifffahrt.

Arrival Description
The best way to reach Schönau am Königssee is via the A8 Munich - Salzburg freeway, exit "Bad Reichenhall" (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) and continue on the B 20. From the B 20 turn right in the direction of "Ramsau". Leave the first junction for Schönau and Königssee and continue on the B 305. At the second junction for Schönau and Königssee turn left (Edeka grocery store on the right side of the road) Up the "Duftberg" and at the first junction turn into the road "Am Duftwald".
