ENGLISH VERSION
A house that has stories to tell... – The tasteful holiday apartment with beautiful sea view terrace lies in the terraced alleys of Albori’s centro storico. Albori is officially one of Italy's most beautiful villages.
"If you knew how many stories this house could tell": with these words, the friendly caretaker of Casa Vecchia opened the door for us. And we wanted to hear the stories, even if the typical, up to 3.50m high dome ceilings, original floors, antique furniture, and countless books tell more about the house's history than many words.
Casa Vecchia is located on the 1st floor of the building, which dates back to the 17th century. However, due to the hillside location, you have level access to the apartment.
MEDITERRANEAN HOLIDAYS
In Casa Vecchia, you don't just immerse yourself in a piece of fascinating history. Here, you can spend truly "vacanze mediterranee" and fully enjoy outdoor living. The terrace, extending across the entire width of the house, is adorned with magnificent potted plants, and the deep blue sea lies at your feet.
On the covered part of the terrace, a beautiful mosaic table with seating promises enjoyable hours of shared meals. The rear part of the sea-view terrace invites you to sunbathe and browse your holiday reading.
TASTEFUL FURNISHINGS & LARGE SEA-VIEW TERRACE
The stylish entrance area leads you directly into the living room. The beautiful floor dates from the 17th century, and the fireplace and elegant furnishings create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. A French balcony facing the piazzetta and a door to the terrace provide brightness and airiness. The eat-in kitchen with a high dome ceiling, original 18th-century tiles, a display cabinet, and a French balcony facing the piazza is small but very charming.
Casa Vecchia has 2 full-sized bedrooms (each with air conditioning for a fee). The bedroom with a double bed has a special charm thanks to the bookshelf, old family photographs, and desk. The bedroom with two single beds (which can also be combined into a double bed) has a small en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom is accessible from the hallway. Between the two bedrooms is a reading and sitting room. You can see the sea from all three rooms and have direct access to the terrace.
Please note: Due to its furnishings, the holiday apartment is not suitable for traveling with small children. The terrace above the apartment, which is also locked with a gate, must not be entered. The owners assume no liability whatsoever.
PARKING: Casa Vecchia cannot be reached directly by car. A reserved, lockable parking space can be provided for a fee. Public parking spaces can be found along the road outside the village center.
ALBORI, BARS, RESTAURANT & THE SEA
In Albori, you will vacation in one of Italy's most beautiful villages. In the Campania region, only a limited number of places belong to this club of "Borghi più belli d’Italia". In the tranquil Albori, you also have the opportunity to experience the Amalfi Coast from its original, rural side. Hiking enthusiasts can start their tours into the mountains and along the coast directly from Casa Vecchia.
In the everyday life of the locals, the attentive traveler gradually discovers a piece of the soul of "Bella Italia". Residents know and greet each other; they walk through the narrow alleys and archways at a leisurely pace. Clotheslines stretch from one window to the neighbor across the way, fragrant basil grows in pots outside doors, small statues of the Virgin Mary are lovingly decorated, and children are, of course, picked up from school by the "nonno", the grandfather.
Café-bars, a bruschetteria, and the recommendable restaurant of the local Agriturismo are about 100 m away. Grocery stores are located in neighboring Raito, about 800 m away. The nearest sandy beach is about 3 km away and can also be reached on foot via a stepped path. For the return journey, we recommend using the well-developed public transportation. Please note, the last bus to Albori runs around 8 pm.

"If you knew how many stories this house could tell" welcomes us the friendly caretaker of Casa Vecchia. We, of course, want to hear the stories, even if the typical, up to 3.5 m high cupola ceilings, original flooring and antique furniture as well as quite a number of books tell you more about the history of the house than words ever could.
Casa Vecchia is located on the 1st floor of the 17th century building. Given the hillside location, you have got level access of the apartment.
MEDITERRANEAN HOLIDAYS
Casa Vecchia mirrors a fascinating past, but it is also a wonderful and perfect accommodation for real "vacanze mediterranee" - with the deep blue sea lying at your feet.
The apartment’s sea view terrace runs the width of the house and is greened with rich potted plants. On the roofed part, you can gather round the beautiful mosaic table for meals; on the rear part, you can relax on loungers in the sun.

The two bedrooms as well as the reading room in between open onto the terrace.
