Another treasure hidden deep in the woods is the Pierre Attelée menhir, a megalith measuring almost three metres and listed as a Historic Monument. Take one of the many cycle or pedestrian paths and pay a visit to the famous Serpent d'Océan, the work of artist Huang Yong Ping, part of the "Parcours Estuaire". Look out for the tide times, as the reptile only reveals itself when the sea is low.
