It features a double bed in the first bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a bar table with four chairs, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a Senseo coffee machine (with a few coffee pods), a kettle (various types of tea are stocked), a toaster, a freestanding stove with a glass-ceramic hob and oven, a water purification system (filtered drinking water), a wood-burning stove/fireplace (wood available for an additional charge), and a rocking chair. The bathroom has a shower cabin, a bathtub, a toilet, and a pull-out wall-mounted dryer.
Towels and bed linen are included in the rental price. For the little ones, there is a children's art table with two chairs and toys. The vacation apartment is not step-free, therefore not barrier-free! The vacation apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building dating back to 1348. At that time, the village of Richimbach was established around a church and a manor.
Later, the place was renamed Reichenbach, and from 1529, it received the name Dornreichenbach, referencing the thorny bush-rich area at the time. During World War II, the manor served as an inspector's house, and later it was transferred to the property of the Agricultural Production Cooperative.
In 1997, the current owner, Enrico Ullmann, acquired the rundown estate and had it converted into a residential and commercial building.
