You will find all information related to your booking in the Wonderful Italy Guest Area. Fascinating, rich in history, authentic: Bari is the capital of Puglia and the most populous city overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Also known as the "Gateway to the East," the city has a solid mercantile-entrepreneurial tradition and has always been a hub for trade and contact with the Middle East.
The city offers a truly rich experience: ancient churches, romantic sea views, historic palaces, relaxing walks along the promenade, and, finally, local gastronomic treasures such as orecchiette, focaccia, or panzerotti. The discovery of the city surely begins in the "Bari Vecchia" area, the oldest nucleus where most of the city's points of interest are located.
Visiting its historic center is a bit like stepping back in time.
Walking through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, you'll come across Via Arcobasso, also known as Via Orecchiette, where local ladies prepare the traditional fresh pasta according to ancient recipes.
Among the main attractions of the city are the Basilica of San Nicola, built at the end of the 11th century, a pilgrimage destination and a symbol of Catholic and Orthodox culture, and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a legacy of Frederick II of Swabia, situated between the sea and the historic center. Furthermore, from this city, numerous Puglian destinations are easily reachable, such as the city of Trani (50 km), with its breathtaking scenery, rich history, and harmonious architectural lines, Castel del Monte (55 km), one of the 54 Italian sites elected UNESCO World Heritage, Alberobello with its typical trulli (55 km), and Castellana Grotte (45 km).
Moving south, Polignano a Mare, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," will leave you speechless with its crystal-clear waters and rocks carved by the sea. Bari-Karol Wojtyla International Airport is less than a 30-minute drive away, and alternatively, Brindisi Airport is located 100 km away.

Overall, the accommodation met our needs. Check-in could have gone more smoothly. We were disappointed with the disturbance/ noise from above our room on two nights of our stay. The main entrance door was left open and unsecure.
