Therefore, it is important for us to point out that Sandpiper Cottage is partially self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels; heating and cooking are done with gas, and the cottage is connected to a biological wastewater treatment system. Sandpiper Cottage itself is a cozy holiday home, built in the early 80s and recently renovated in a modern style.

The living room is dominated by a large, transparent natural stone gas fireplace that can heat the entire house.

Temperatures in Plouguerneau are generally mild even in winter, but on a cool evening, there is nothing more romantic than sitting in front of a welcoming fireplace. The surroundings of the house are a paradise for nature lovers, ideal for enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee.

At the end of the path in front of the house, climb the Meledan (a large rock in Breton) and enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view of the sea and the coast.
