Our cozy, bright vacation apartment is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance.
There is an open-plan kitchen/living area with a sofa bed, a barrier-free bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom with a double bed. The terrace is easily accessible and invites you to relax and feel at home. A parking space is available free of charge. Located in the middle of the beautiful Vulkaneifel region, it is an ideal starting point for walks, extensive hikes, or bike tours on the Maare-Mosel cycle path.
Ideally located for hikers, cyclists, or bikers. The "Eyes of the Eifel," the Holzmaar, Pulvermaar, Schalkenmehrener Maar, Weinfelder Maar, and Gemündener Maar lakes are within a radius of approx. 10 km and invite you for walks, swimming, or boating. Hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig, Lieserpfad, and Heimatspuren are accessible in the immediate vicinity. Day trips to Germany's oldest city, Trier, or to the Moselle, to Koblenz at the "Dreiländereck" (three-country corner), or to the Nürburgring can be reached by car in one to two hours. The highway exits Mehren/Vulkaneifel and Manderscheid are only about 12 km away. You can reach Wittlich/Wengerohr train station in about 35 km; from here, trips to the Saarschleife (Saar loop), the Moselle, or Cologne are possible with many connections. Shopping facilities can be found in Gillenfeld (approx. 5 km) or in Daun (approx. 10 km). Please note that there are no shops or restaurants in the village itself. Upon request and at your expense, we can stock the refrigerator for you before your arrival. If needed, a second small apartment for 1-2 people is available in the village and can be arranged.
