The Cilento is a region where you can take it easy at gorgeous, wide sandy beaches, enjoy a magnificently green landscape and go on a discovery tour of cultural sights/sites.
Casa Amatucci with its two tasteful holiday apartments Cielo and Terra is a perfect accommodation for all those, be it families with children or couples, who wish to be very close to and enjoy the sea and the beach, but maybe also do a bit of exploring in the Cilento.
If you love to go for runs or walks along the beach, you will find Lago’s long sandy beach to be a paradise. Cielo and Terra are located next to each other on the 1st floor of a residential house, which also houses holiday apartment Casa Luisa on the 2nd floor. APARTMENT CIELO Apartment Cielo for up to 3 persons is lovingly designed in the colors of the sky. It includes a bedroom (double bed + single bed) with access of a small balcony, a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet) and a live-and-eat-in kitchen (incl. 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer) with access of another small balcony.
The balconies are furnished with tables and seating accommodations. The apartment also features: TV, air conditioning, WiFi, washing machine, children’s bed. There’s an outdoor shower for shared use. PARKING: Free parking is available along the residents-only road nearby.
Private parking (extra charge) in an enclosed area close to Casa Amatucci can be organized upon request. FURTHER INFORMATION & TIPS FOR EXCURSIONS Shopping facilities as well as a bar are 100 m from the accommodation.
The center of Santa Maria di Castellabate is at a walking distance of 1 km along the beach and a driving distance of 2.5 km. At the lungomare and in the pedestrian zone of Santa Maria, you can take leisurely strolls and enjoy the southern Italian atmosphere. Absolutely worth stopping by: the neighboring, UNESCO World Heritage listed, medieval mountain village of Castellabate, which sits enthroned on a hilltop above the sea. There are a lot of hiking tours you can undertake to explore the environs, for example hiking tour "Castellabate and Santa Maria", which with regard to visibility conditions is best undertaken either early in the morning or shortly before sunset. It is about half an hour by car to the famous Greek temples at Paestum and the ancient town of Pompeii is worth a day trip.
