Whether you want to relax on your holiday or explore the surroundings – both are possible here. Our swimming lake, rated as the most beautiful and cleanest swimming lake in East Frisia, is located in the Tannenhausen recreational area. The private sandy beach is right outside our holiday home. Pedal boats, canoes, beach chairs, sun loungers, and pedal bikes with accessories can be rented at the lake. And your physical well-being is also taken care of. Since summer 2016, there has also been a water ski/wakeboard facility there. Not far away, the town of Aurich (approx. 6km) invites you for a stroll and many other leisure activities, such as the De Baalje adventure pool and the climbing forest. It's not far to the North Sea coast with its beautiful islands. From Tannenhausen to Norddeich, for the Juist and Norderney ferries, or Emden, for the Borkum ferry, it is approx. 35 km.
