Die aus Felsen bestehende Badestelle (fußläufig ca. 250 m) des Privatgrundstücks ist über einen schmalen, teils stufigen Weg erreichbar, der durch einen duftenden, Schatten spendenden Kiefernwald führt.

Die Villa ist ideal für einen gemeinsamen Süditalien-Urlaub von befreundeten Paaren oder Familien, die auch Wert auf ihre Privatsphäre legen. Alle Räume der Villa Giuliana sind ebenerdig angeordnet, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung sowie der Kamin sorgen für eine behagliche Atmosphäre.
Das Ferienhaus umfasst 3 komfortable Doppelschlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, eine Küche und ein Wohn-Esszimmer mit komfortabler Sofaecke, einer Essgruppe für 6 Personen sowie Zugang zur Meerblickterrasse.

AUSSENBEREICH – Auf der überdachten, möblierten Terrasse können Sie z.B. ein typisch süditalienisches "cena" (Abendessen) zelebrieren, mit auf dem Grill zubereitetem, köstlichem Fleisch oder Fisch. Genießen Sie den Blick auf die untergehende Sonne, die buchstäblich im Meer versinkt und nur noch ein rotes Glühen zurücklässt.
Wer sich für einen Moment zurückziehen und allein mit sich und der Natur sein möchte, dem empfehlen wir die Dachterrasse, die einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer freigibt.
Auf dem Parkplatz am Haus können bis zu drei PKWs parken.

WEITERE INFORMATIONEN & AUSFLUGSTIPPS
Das Meer mit Badestelle an der Felsbucht erreichen Sie schon nach 250 m. Die nächsten Strände befinden sich 1,5 km entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants finden Sie im Ortsteil Fiumicello (3 km) oder am Hafen von Maratea (4 km). Maratea selbst ist 6 km entfernt.

Der 32 km lange Küstenstreifen der Region Basilikata hat einiges zu bieten: kristallklares Meer, wunderschöne Natur und – den Redentore, die 21 m hohe Christusstatue. Die von dem Florentiner Bildhauer Bruno Innocenzi erschaffene Statue ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Planen Sie auch einen Tag in Maratea ein. Bei einem cremigen Cappuccino können Sie "La Dolce Vita" genießen. Verlassen Sie Maratea nicht, ohne frisches Gemüse und Obst vom Markt erstanden zu haben. Die herzlichen Marktfrauen freuen sich über jeden Käufer. Für alle, die die Küste vom Boot aus erkunden möchten, werden von Mai bis Mitte Oktober ab Porto Maratea Bootsausflüge organisiert.

The private bathing area of the property is a rocky bay and a short ca. 250 m walk from Villa Giuliana. The narrow, partly stepped path to the bay passes through fragrant pine woods, which offer pleasant shade on hot days.

Time-out from daily routine: Enjoy the wonderful green surroundings and the marvelous view of the sea the two terraces of Villa Giuliana open upon.

COMFORTABLE HOLIDAY HOME WITH WELL-TENDED OUTDOOR AREA
Villa Giuliana is a ground-level holiday home with tasteful furnishing and a cozy atmosphere. It is a perfect accommodation for up to 6 persons, also couples and friends, who wish to spend their holidays together in Southern Italy and still have a bit of privacy.
The holiday home has got 3 comfortable double bedrooms with en suite bathroom each (shower/WC/bidet), a kitchen (incl. gas stove, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven) and a living-dining room with comfortable sofa corner, fireplace and dining furniture for 6. The living-dining room opens onto the sea view terrace.
Furnishing also includes TV, washing machine and central heating (extra charge in case of use). A children’s bed and highchair can be provided upon request. The parking area at the house is suitable for up to 3 cars.

OUTDOOR AREA – The roofed and furnished terrace is the perfect spot for relaxing, for 'celebrating' a typically southern Italian "cena" (dinner) with the delicious meat or fish you have prepared on the grill, for watching the setting sun as it slowly disappears into the sea and leaves only a fiery glow.
The roof terrace with its marvelous view of the sea might be the right place, if you wish to withdraw for a while, to feel at one with yourself and nature.

FURTHER INFORMATION & TIPS FOR EXCURSIONS
The rocky bathing area and the sea are only 250 m, the nearest beaches 1.5 km off. Shopping facilities and restaurants are found in the district of Fiumicello (3 km) or at the harbor of Maratea (4 km). The town of Maratea is 6 km off.

The Basilicata region’s 32 km of coastline have a lot to offer: crystal clear sea, gorgeous nature and – the Redentore, the statue of Christ standing 21 m tall on Monte San Biagio. The statue was created by Florentine sculptor Bruno Innocenzi and is absolutely worth a closer look.

Allow for a day at Maratea, too. Stroll through the town, savor a creamy cappuccino and enjoy "la dolce vita". Do not leave Maratea without buying fresh vegetables and fruit at the market, where every customer is welcome to the friendly market women. Should you want to explore the coast by boat, stop at Porto Maratea, where boat tours are organized from May to mid-October.
