Our barn, which is over a hundred years old, has been completely revitalised and equipped with modern comforts.
The highlight is the ancient forged cooker, which comes from an alpine pasture on the Großglockner. Of course, there is also an induction hob and an electric frying pan for those who get too hot on the cosy cooker. A fridge, sink and, of course, crockery and cookware are all provided. Sleeping is in the gallery under the roof.

The Romantikhütte was built with a special focus on natural materials such as natural stone and wood to create a harmonious connection with the surrounding nature. The hut is stylishly furnished and offers you maximum comfort while you relax in the midst of the fascinating natural landscape.

Our accommodation is the perfect starting point for nature activities and relaxing moments. Whether you want to go hiking in the surrounding mountains, explore the breathtaking beauty of the Mölltal Glacier or simply relax in nature, here you have numerous opportunities to experience the beauty of the surroundings.

In just 4 minutes by car (1.8 km) you can easily reach the valley station of the Gletscherexpress from your front door. In another 8 minutes you are already in Austria's most snow-sure glacier ski area from 2,230 to 3,120 metres above sea level. The Mölltal Glacier is covered in snow all year round, guaranteeing 100% snow all year round. The Mölltal Glacier is the official training area for the Austria Ski Team and the German National Alpine Ski Team. Ski teams from all over the world use the ideal conditions on the Mölltal Glacier to prepare for the World Cup, even during the summer months. It is not without reason that international World Cup teams opt for this training region.

The Innerfragant waterfall, which is within sight and just a 3-minute walk away, provides cooling in summer.
