A true North Norwegian fishing experience – right by the sea and in a historic setting – awaits you here! Welcome to Engvik on Rebbenesøya, where the great ocean meets history! Here you will live right by the sea, in a simple and rustic holiday apartment directly above the small, local shop and in a fishing village that has been popular for over 75 years.
This is not luxury, but it is authentic.
The holiday apartment is located on the 1st floor and offers a living area, kitchenette, bathroom, and two bedrooms.
The furnishings are modest but provide everything you need for a comfortable stay.
One bedroom has two bunk beds, the other has a so-called family bunk with a 120 cm wide sleeping area below and a single bunk above.
Free Wi-Fi and TV with Norwegian and international channels.
Small terrace with sea view, barbecue, and garden furniture.
Access to a washing machine is available if needed.
Thanks to low light pollution and the open sea to the north, you also have fantastic conditions for watching the Northern Lights during the winter months.
Rebbenesøya is a place without noise and with few people.
Little car traffic and no stress.
Several mountain lakes and hiking trails for those who want to be on land.
This is a place for those who appreciate an authentic environment, the smell of fish, old wooden piers, and real North Norwegian coastal culture.
Directly opposite the cabin is the old fishing pier – still in operation, now equipped for anglers.
For rent: a 19-foot boat (Kværnø type), equipped with a 50/60 HP Yamaha outboard motor, GPS/chartplotter/fishfinder, and rod holders.
Please note: the boat can only be rented between May 10th and September 15th. Floating dock with easy access to the boat.
Covered fish cleaning station with light and running water on site.
Storage space for fishing gear and a freezer for your catch.
Benches and tables for preparations and fishing talks.

Ich habe den Außenbereich sehr genossen! Die Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln war eine schöne Ergänzung, und der Grill sorgte für vergnügliche Grillabende. Die Lage direkt am Pier verlieh unserem Aufenthalt einen ganz besonderen Charme.
