Description of the accommodation
Cozy holiday cottage in an idyllic location on the island of Kvaløya, with wonderful panoramic views of the imposing mountains and the water just below from the house and terrace! You will stay here at the fish-rich Rystraumen, approx. 30 km southwest of Tromsø. In autumn and winter, the Northern Lights can be experienced here day and night in all shades of color in the sky when the weather is clear! The cottage has two levels; the living room is on the lower level, the kitchen slightly elevated.
In addition, there are two bedrooms available; one with a 120 cm wide double bed, the second with a single bed. The walk from the house's parking lot is 70 m long in summer and winter.
Final cleaning is not included in the price and can be arranged with the owner upon arrival.
Very good fishing spot in the strait just below, where you can fish from the land with a rod. There is also attractive hiking terrain all around and a good starting point for day trips by car to Sommarøya on the west side of Kvaløya. There you can walk along the beautiful coastal landscape along idyllic sandy beaches, enjoying the fresh sea air and the midnight sun. Take the car ferry to the island of Senja with a subsequent round trip via the main road E6. Also visit the Polar Zoo with reindeer, wolves, bears, etc. From Senja, you can also take the ferry to Andøya and go on a whale safari.
It is 25 km to the nearest airport and 30 km to the city of Tromsø with many shops and restaurants.

Fantastische Aussicht! Die Unterkunft war perfekt für unseren 10-tägigen Aufenthalt. Sauber und mit allem, was wir brauchten. Wir hatten das Glück, jeden Abend von der Terrasse aus die Nordlichter zu sehen. Sehr gute Lage, nur 30 Minuten von Tromsø entfernt.

What a gem of a place! The cozy cottage has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, I loved the garden furniture on the terrace where I could enjoy my morning coffee while soaking in the sun, Plus, the fishing opportunities were fantastic! I caught a few good ones right by the shore, The northern lights were an unexpected treat in the evenings, I can't wait to come back!

Das süße Häuschen liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Fjord entfernt und hat alles was man im täglichen Leben braucht. Optimal ist es für 1 bis maximal 3 Personen, da es doch sehr kompakt ist (1 Wohnraum, 2 Kammern zum schlafen und ein winziges Bad).
