From old to new! In 2023, a "rudere," a dilapidated farmhouse, was transformed into Casetta Lupo with all imaginable comforts.
In a most beautiful panoramic location on the coast of Lucania (Basilicata), it invites you to an unforgettable holiday in the authentic south of Italy.
On top of that, guests have a large infinity pool for shared use. ********************************************************************** HOLIDAYS ON THE TYRRHENIAN SEA The coast of Maratea is a unique stretch of land on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Surrounded by crystal-clear water, black beaches and lush vegetation lies the famous mountain town of Maratea.
Idyllic and yet incredibly lively. HOLIDAY HOME WITH PANORAMIC TERRACE Not far from Maratea lies Casetta Lupo – a dreamlike retreat between sea and mountains.
Completely restored in 2023, the old farmhouse now shines as a modern and cozy holiday home.
The Casetta is small but delightful and perfectly suited for a holiday as a couple.
Additionally, the sofa in the living room can be used as a sleeping accommodation for two more people. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to experiment with culinary delights.
From here, you enter the panoramic terrace, where, before dinner and in true Italian style, you can enjoy an aperitivo with a sea view.
Thanks to the orientation of the partly covered terrace, you can experience beautiful sunsets during your stay. COOLING OFF IN THE INFINITY POOL Another highlight of Casetta Lupo is the almost 17-meter-long pool with a maximum depth of 2.20 meters.
This pool is for shared use by you and the owners who live in Rome and only visit Maratea sporadically. On the very spacious, terraced grounds, the Casetta is located at the highest point of the property.
The pool and the owners' holiday home are on the level below Casetta Lupo.
This arrangement guarantees guests absolute privacy in and around the house.
Even from the pool, the owners' house is only partially visible due to the distance and vegetation. Please note that the use of the pool, as well as walks on the grounds, are always at your own risk. PARKING ON THE PROPERTY Those who wish to spend their holiday in Casetta Lupo will need a car on site.
Please note that currently, you cannot drive directly to the house by car. A parking space is available on the fenced property below the pool.
From there, a footpath with an altitude difference of approximately 30 meters must be covered to reach the house. Upon arrival and departure, the caretaker of Casetta Lupo will transport luggage to the house or to the car. Larger purchases can also be transported from the parking lot to the house by the caretaker after prior arrangement. IN THE SURROUNDINGS OF CASETTA LUPO The beach of Cersuta is only 1 km away from the holiday home.
Less than a 10-minute drive from the Casetta are the port of Marina di Maratea and some of the most beautiful beaches on this coast.
These include Acquafredda, Fiumicello, and Porto. The historic old town of Maratea with the famous statue of Christ is approximately 7.5 km away.

Wunderbare Unterkunft, tolle Aussicht, mit großem Auto etwas beschwerlich, der Aufstieg zum Haus ist sportlich. Der Verwalter hilft beim Gepäck, sonst wäre es sehr beschwerlich.
