Beautiful flat characterised by beautiful white stone vaulted ceilings, and located in the old part of Bari.
The house is on two levels: on the first floor there is a modern open kitchen equipped with microwave, kettle and freezer and a spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. Here is the living area consisting of a living room furnished with a dining table, television and two sofa beds, one single and one double. A mirrored wall behind the TV hides a large walk-in wardrobe.
Then comes the first bathroom, which boasts a splendid whirlpool tub, and the sleeping area, which consists of a bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with an exposed shower.
Finally, a small study area for those who work from home located next to the bedroom completes the layout.
Free wifi, air conditioning, washing machine and heating with heat pump will be available in the flat.
*The flat is located in the ZTL area, we recommend leaving your car in one of the surrounding car parks and enjoying the historic centre on foot.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
Fascinating, rich in history, authentic: Bari is the capital of Apulia and the most populous city on the Adriatic Sea. Also known as the 'Gateway to the East', the city has a solid merchant-entrepreneurial tradition and has always been a focal point for trade and contacts with the Middle East. The city's offerings are truly rich: ancient churches, romantic views of the sea, historic palaces, relaxing walks along the waterfront and, finally, local gastronomic treasures such as orecchiette, focaccia or panzerotti.
Discovery of the city certainly begins in the 'Bari Vecchia' area, the oldest core where most of the city's sites of interest are located. Visiting its historic centre is a bit like stepping back in time. As you walk through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, you will come across via Arcobasso, also known as via Orecchiette, where the local ladies prepare fresh local pasta according to ancient recipes. Among the city's main attractions are the Basilica of San Nicola, built at the end of the 11th century, a pilgrimage destination and symbol of Catholic and Orthodox culture, and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a legacy of Frederick II of Swabia, between the sea and the old town.
In addition, many Apulian destinations are within easy reach from this city, such as the city of Trani (50 km), with its breathtaking scenery, rich in history and harmonious architectural lines, Castel del Monte (55 km), one of Italy's 54 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Alberobello with its typical trulli (55 km) and Castellana Grotte (45 km). Moving southwards, Polignano a Mare, known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', will leave you speechless, with its crystal-clear waters and rocks embroidered with cavities carved out by the sea.
The accommodation is less than 3km from the main train station and less than 15km from Bari airport.
