Happiness awaits at Cas Rouge! This large, bright, spacious, and welcoming gîte is located in the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire region.
It's the ideal place for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, whether with family or friends.
A former farmhouse, it has been completely renovated into a comfortable and inviting gîte with modern décor.
Original features have been preserved as much as possible to maintain the building's character, with its timber frame and stone walls giving it an authentic feel.
A few repurposed antique pieces of furniture and objects have also been incorporated to evoke the history of the place.
Between the Loire Valley and the Petite Beauce region, in the heart of a countryside dotted with hamlets and crossed by the Mauves River, small streams flow gently towards the Loire.
A stroll along the verdant banks of the Mauves will allow you to discover the six watermills that dot the river.
Numerous visits are possible: the Loire Valley châteaux, including Chambord, Blois, and Amboise, as well as the city of Orléans, rich in history and architecture, just 20 km away, and the charming town of Meung-sur-Loire with its château, one of the oldest in the Loiret department, and the Flamboyant Gothic basilica of Cléry-Saint-André, which houses the tomb of Louis XI.
Many parks and gardens can also be visited: the Parc Floral d'Orléans, the Jardin de Roquelin, the Jardin d'ILEX in Meung-sur-Loire, and the Route de la Rose (Rose Route) in the Loiret.
On the ground floor, there is a large, bright living room with a pellet stove, an open-plan fitted kitchen, a shower room, a separate WC, a bedroom with a 160x200 cm double bed, and a bedroom with two 90x190 cm single beds.
Upstairs, there is one bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm) and another bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm) and two single beds (90x190cm), a shower room, and a separate toilet.
You can relax in the approximately 450 m² garden, lounging in the deck chairs or enjoying a convivial moment around the charcoal barbecue.
A pétanque court and a bicycle storage area are also available.
It's the perfect place to enjoy the good weather and have fun outdoors with the games provided (bowling, badminton, rackets, etc.).
A boules court allows you to play with family or friends.
The center of Paris is accessible by car, 130 kilometers from the gîte, or by train from Meung-sur-Loire station (9 km) or Orléans station (20 km).
Four private parking spaces are available in front of the house.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf van 6 dagen (wij waren met 7 volwassenen): servies, bestek, afwasmachine, ligstoelen, 2 badkamers, rustig gelegen, ... Een aanrader!
