Holiday flat in unique panorama-villa Zincalo - holidaying in remarkably exposed location, in an old olive grove on Marina di Camerota's Monte di Luna
Below the extensive grounds of Villa Zincalo, the coast drops steeply into the deep blue sea. This uniquely beautiful coastline is part of the Infreschi Marine Nature Park, which should definitely be discovered in two ways: on foot to marvel at the spectacular sea panoramas and by boat to capture the beauty of the cliffs and mysterious sea caves, which are up to 180 metres high.
The villa with 3 flats and the separate guest house Casetta Zincalo are located on the hillside. The flat above the holiday flats Danda and Archi is usually occupied by the Roman owners themselves during their holidays.
Holiday flat DANDA FOR 4 PEOPLE - is only available on request, as it is often used by the owners' daughter.
The smaller holiday flat Danda has a similar layout to the Archi flat and has a small living/dining room, a fitted kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The larger bedroom and the living area have access to the partly covered terrace of the flat.
COMMON OUTDOOR AREA OF THE PROPERTY
The old, thick olive trees give the property a special Mediterranean flair. They stand close to the terraces.
The best view of the sea, the Lentiscelle beach just 400 metres away and Marina di Camerota can be enjoyed from the property's communal terrace, where there is a stone pizza oven with a small outdoor kitchen. Here you can prepare your pizza evening and enjoy a wonderful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Saracen Tower at your feet.
There are plenty of parking spaces available on the fenced grounds. The access road to Villa Zincalo is a dirt track about 200 metres long, which branches off from the asphalt service road and ends at the entrance gate of the property.
AROUND VILLA ZINCALO
From the property, a path leads to Torre Zincalo after 100 metres and further down to the sea. The pebbly/sandy beach of Lentiscelle, which stretches between Marina di Camerota and Monte di Luna, is also about 400 metres away on foot.
Follow the coastal footpath to reach the bays of Cala Bianca, Pozzallo and the natural harbour of Infreschi. Between April and October, you can also reach these bays daily by boat with the Cilento Mare and Cilento Blu co-operatives. Both can be found at the port of Marina di Camerota.
The town centre of Marina di Camerota is around 2.4 km away. In the centre around Piazza San Domenico as well as along the sea promenade and at the harbour you will find restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, shops and the Consentino bakery. There are two large supermarkets at the entrance to the town centre. There is also a market once a week in the car park at the harbour.

Below the rambling premises Villa Zincalo is located on, the coast drops steeply into the deep blue sea. This uniquely beautiful coastal stretch is part of marine nature park Infreschi, which should be explored in two ways: on foot to discover the spectacular seascapes and by boat to take in the up to 180 m high rock faces and the mysterious sea grottos in all their beauty.
Apart from the main house with three flats, separate guest house Casetta Zincalo is also located on the sloping premises. During holiday time, the owners, who live in Rome, usually stay at the flat above holiday flats Danda and Archi.
HOLIDAY APARTMENT DANDA FOR 4 PERSONS - is available only on request, as the owners' daughter likes to use it.
Apartment Danda is similar in layout to flat Archi, but smaller. It includes a small living-dining room, a fitted kitchen (incl. oven, gas stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment), 2 bedrooms (double bed each) and 2 bathrooms (shower/WC/bidet each). The larger bedroom and the living area open onto the flat's partly roofed terrace. The flat features WiFi, SAT-TV and gas heating (extra charge in case of use).
OUTDOOR AREA FOR SHARED USE
The old, bulky olive trees, which grow up close to the terraces, make for a special and Mediterranean atmosphere on the premises.
From the property's terrace for shared use, you have got the best view of the sea, of Lentiscelle beach only 400 m off and of Marina di Camerota. There is a stone pizza oven on this terrace as well as a small outdoor kitchen, where you can prepare your 'pizza evening' with a fantastic view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Saracen tower at your feet.
Note: On your way to Villa Zincalo, look out for a kind of field track that branches off the residents-only road. It ends (ca. 200 m) at the entrance gate onto the fenced premises, which you can park your car on.
SURROUNDINGS OF VILLA ZINCALO
From the property, a footpath runs down to Torre Zincalo (ca. 100 m) and further on down to the sea. Lentiscelle beach (pebble/sand) below Monte di Luna can also be reached on foot (approx. 400 m).

Villa Zincalo is about 2.4 km from the centre of Marina di Camerota with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and various stores as well as Consentino's bakery. Just take a leisurely stroll around Piazza San Domenico, through the alleys, along the seaside promenade and at the harbour. Two larger supermarkets are found at the entrance to Marina.
