The living areas include an open-plan living space housing a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, a sitting area with Apple TV, DVD player and a dining area. The bedrooms include a king-size with TV and en-suite bathroom and three doubles with TVs, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, plus there is a bathroom. Outside, there is off-road parking for three cars and a courtyard with furniture. Within 1.6 miles there is a shop and pub. Two pets are welcome however smoking is not allowed. Travel cot, highchair, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Escape to Talbot Lodge for a delightful abode with your nearest and dearest. We all very much enjoyed our stay at Chetwynd Lodge. The building and location are stunning, the owner lives a stones throw away and was friendly and happy to suggest nearby places we might find interesting. The children loved playing in the courtyard and watching the horses.

Such a beautiful property in an even more beautiful local area. Some of the facilities might need updating (some loose taps, wardrobe doors that won't close, showers changing temperature unpredictably) but other than that we had everything we needed and more, and we had a lovely, relaxing time.

We had a wonderful stay, everything we needed was provided. What a stunning location, we were able to forget about the “real world” for a couple of days!! The stable conversion is stunning and unique. We especially enjoyed spotting the original features as our horses were staying in the original stables too. Thank you - we will be back next year!
