ENGLISH VERSION
Idyllically embedded among olive and pomegranate trees, Villa Solento lies in gorgeous panoramic location on the slopes of Monte di Luna at Marina di Camerota.
Monte di Luna marks the beginning of one of the most fascinating stretches of coastline in Cilento, the Infreschi Marine Nature Park, which stretches with its impressive cliffs to the bay of the same name.
TWO TERRACES AND PURE SEA VIEWS
The location of the Lamanna family's very well-kept holiday home offers a correspondingly panoramic view. From the covered terrace in front of the house, the view extends far out to the sea and the oldest part of Marina di Camerotas, which stretches along a striking headland.
The second terrace of Villa Solento extends next to the house. Olive and fruit trees, bright bougainvillea, dwarf palms and lovingly planted terracotta vases invite you to relax and enjoy the Dolce Vita surrounded by nature and the crystal-clear sea of southern Italy.
CELEBRATE ATMOSPHERE FOR 4 PEOPLE
Villa Solento is entered via a small hallway with cloakroom. The centrepiece of the villa is the living/dining area, which is completely sea-facing. Both areas have access to the covered, furnished sea view terrace, which extends across the entire width of the house.
The cosy living area with sofa and satellite TV is adjoined at the back of the room by a dining area with a dining set for 4 and a display cabinet with glasses and crockery for all occasions. The dining area leads to the kitchen.
The two bedrooms (double bed; 2 single beds) and the bathroom are located at the rear of Villa Solento. A guest WC can be found in the entrance area of the house.
The holiday home is equipped with gas heating. A washing machine in a separate annex can be used on request.
Villa Solento has WiFi, but this can be subject to weather-related disruptions. It is therefore not suitable for home office.
Note: There is an annexe on the ground floor of the house, which will remain unrented during your stay. Also on the property, offset to the side and below Villa Solento, is a second holiday home, which is protected from view. This has a separate driveway. A fence separates the two holiday homes from each other.
PIZZAOFEN, OUTDOOR SHOWER AND CARPORT
The outdoor area of the house also offers all kinds of facilities and comfort. In addition to an outdoor shower, there is a pizza oven, an outdoor barbecue, sun loungers and another covered dining area with a pavilion on the terrace to the side of the villa. There is also a partial view of the sea from here.
A car can be parked in the carport on the fenced property or directly in front of the house outside.
BATHING, WALKING AND SHOPPING IN MARINA DI CAMEROTA
At the foot of Monte di Luna is the Lentiscelle beach, which is partially serviced from June and can be reached on foot after approx. 900 metres. The Pozzallo beach with the Marchese family's beach bistro of the same name is worth a visit and a short hike.
The bay is part of the marine nature park and is easily accessible via a heavenly panoramic hiking trail from Monte di Luna. The boats of the Cilento Mare and Cilento Blu cooperatives also dock here, with which you can travel on to Baia Infreschi or back to Marina di Camerota.
You can do your shopping in the supermarkets in Marina di Camerota, which are open all year round. A car is recommended for this, as the supermarkets are approx. 1.2 to 2 km from Villa Solento. Every fortnight (except in August), on Friday mornings, there is a weekly market in the harbour area.
In the summer months in particular, countless restaurants in the centre of Marina di Camerota invite you to feast. If you like traditional Cilento fish cuisine, visit Peppe Troccoli in his restaurant Ammore e Mare in the alleyways of the marina.
For more unusual fish dishes, keep your eyes open on the Lungomare for Davide Meas's Taverna del Mozzo, which is usually open for lunch and well into the low season. This also applies to the family-run Ristorante Brera in Via Alfonso.

ENGLISH VERSION
Monte di Luna marks the starting point of one of the Cilento's most fascinating coastal sections, of marine nature park Infreschi, which with its impressive steep coast stretches up to the bay of the same name.
TWO TERRACES & GREAT SEA VIEW
It therefore comes as no surprise that the location of family Lamanna's very well-tended holiday home is rich in panorama. From the roofed terrace in front of the house, your gaze roams far out to sea and to the oldest part of Marina di Camerota, which lies on a striking headland.
On the second terrace of Villa Solento, which lies to the side of the house, olive and fruit trees, radiating bougainvillea, dwarf fan palms and lovingly planted terracotta vases invite you to relax and enjoy la dolce vita amid the nature and near the crystal clear sea of southern Italy.
COZY ATMOSPHERE FOR UP TO 4 PERSONS
You enter Villa Solento into a small hallway with coat rack and access of a guest bath. The heart of the villa is the living-dining room facing the sea. Both the cozy living area with sofa and SAT-TV and the dining area with dining furniture for 4 and a glass cabinet with various glasses and dishes open onto the roofed and furnished sea view terrace, which runs the width of the house.
The kitchen (incl. gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, drip coffee machine, toaster) is accessible from the dining area.
The two bedrooms (double bed; twin beds) and the bathroom (shower/WC/bidet; hair dryer) are found in the back part of Villa Solento.
The holiday home is furnished with gas heating (extra charge for use), the fireplace in the living area is a decorative element only; a children's bed and highchair can be provided upon request. The washing machine in a separate annex can be used upon request.
Villa Solento features WiFi, which however may be subject to disturbances caused by weather conditions. It is therefore not suitable for telework.
Note: The dependance on the ground floor of the house remains unoccupied during your stay. There is a second holiday home on the premises, located below Villa Solento and set off to the side, which is however screened from view and has a private driveway. A fence separates the respective areas of the two holiday homes.
PIZZA OVEN, OUTDOOR SHOWER & CARPORT - Comfort is provided for also in the outdoor area, where you find an outdoor shower, a pizza oven and a barbecue, sun loungers and a roofed dining area on the terrace to the side of the house at your disposal. From there, you can catch a glimpse of the sea, too.
One car can be parked on the fenced premises, either under the carport or right in front of the house.
SWIMMING, GOING OUT & SHOPPING AT MARINA DI CAMEROTA
Lentiscelle beach, as of June partly with service, is located at the foot of Monte di Luna and at a walking distance of 900 m from Villa Solento.
Worth stopping by and a short hike to get there - Pozzallo beach with family Marchese's beach bistro of the same name. The beach bay is part of the marine nature park and easily reached from Monte di Luna by following a heavenly panorama hiking trail. As the boats of cooperatives Cilento Mare and Cilento Blu call at the bay, too, you can continue on to Baia Infreschi or return to Marina di Camerota on one of them.
Shopping is done at the supermarkets at Marina di Camerota, which are open year-round. As they are approx. 1.2 to 2 km from Villa Solento, having a car at your disposal is strongly recommended. Every two weeks (not in August) on Friday morning, a weekly market takes place in the harbour area.
Especially during the summer months, a large number of restaurants in the centre of Marina di Camerota invite you to wine and dine. Should you prefer the Cilento's traditional fish cuisine, stop at Peppe Troccoli's Ammore e Mare in the alleys of Marina. Should you prefer fish cuisine which is a bit 'fancier', look for Davide Mea's Taverna del Mozzo at the lungomare, which is, in general, also open at noontime and far into low season. This also goes for family-run Ristorante Brera in Via Alfonso.
