The island of Rab with its neighboring islands makes a group of islands located in a very convenient traffic and tourist location in relation to Europe and domestic tourist market. The island of Rab (Arbe) is situated in the northwest-southeast position, parallel to the mainland of the Velebit coastline. The biggest air length of the island of Rab is 22 km. You can get to the island of Rab by a ferry from the pier Jablanac on the mainland to Mišnjak on the south side of the island. Lopar on the island of Rab and Valbiska on the island of Krk are also connected by ferry twice a day through the year and four times daily in summer. Catamaran from Rijeka to the island of Rab travels once a day throughout the whole year.
