Located on a UNESCO world heritage site on the edge of St Ives Bay, surrounded by three miles of sandy beaches and with an ever-present Atlantic breeze, Hayle is a surfing and windsurfing hotspot, it's also great for swimming and days on the beach. A paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers, the estuary is managed by the RSPB, and as the first town in Cornwall to be awarded "Walkers Are Welcome" status, its footpaths are well maintained and a pleasure to explore. There are plenty of facilities, from shops and galleries to restaurants and supermarkets, providing everything needed to enjoy a relaxing seaside escape. St Ives and the Tate Gallery is within 6 miles, as well as a huge variety of Cornish villages nearby. Guests can drive between coasts in around 15 minutes - great for exploring and visiting the beautiful beaches this part of the country has to offer.
