Old, tall olive trees define the landscape, forming a wonderful contrast to the sea, which guests in Nella’s and Franco’s holiday apartment Il Patio sul Mare (formerly Casa Ester) always have in view.
A Mediterranean dream is also the cozy, 60 m², partly covered terrace of Il Patio sul Mare.
Even the long driveway to the property is lined with plants and flowers in vibrant colors.
A bougainvillea climbs above the outdoor shower in the most beautiful violet. HOLIDAY BY THE SEA FOR 2 PEOPLE The beach "64", a pebbly coastal stretch about 600 m away and within walking distance, is mainly visited by locals and is usually not overcrowded, even in August. Il Patio sul Mare itself is also a hidden gem. The pretty apartment, partially renovated in 2021, is located on the ground floor of a two-family house.
The hospitable, discreet owners live on the upper floor. You enter the holiday apartment through the living room with a dining area.
From the adjacent, separate kitchen, you enter a utility room (shower cabin). The bathroom (WC/bidet) is located between the living and sleeping areas.
The cozy bedroom with a sea view is equipped with a fan. All windows and the entrance door are fitted with mosquito screens. A TERRACE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH Marina Campagna is generally a place of silence, interrupted during the day only for a few moments by the passing train, which dives from one tunnel to the next.

All these delicacies are served in an old olive grove overlooking the sea. Daily shopping is done in the mountain village of Pisciotta, about 4.5 km away.
In the immediate vicinity of Piazza Pinto, there are two small supermarkets, a greengrocer, and a butcher.
From the late afternoon onwards, you can get local olive oil, cheese, and pasta from local producers at Cantina Lamadé, below the piazza.

I would love to come back if I could drive a car. Without car it's a difficult place to stay. The electric bike offered by the shop in Pisciotta is really not suitable for the steep hill where the house Is locates.
