Old, tall olive trees characterise the landscape and form a wonderful contrast to the sea, which guests in Nella and Franco's holiday flat Il Patio sul Mare (formerly Casa Ester) always have before their eyes.
The cosy 60 m², partly covered terrace of Il Patio sul Mare is also a Mediterranean dream. Even the long driveway to the property is lined with plants and flowers in bright colours. A bougainvillea in the most beautiful purple grows above the outdoor shower.

HOLIDAY BY THE SEA FOR 2 PEOPLE
The beach "64", a pebbly stretch of coast about 600 metres away and within walking distance, is mainly frequented by locals and is usually not overcrowded even in August.
An insider tip is also Il Patio sul Mare itself. The pretty flat, partially renovated in 2021, is located on the ground floor of a two-party house. The upper floor is occupied by the hospitable, discreet owners.

The holiday flat is accessed via the living room with dining area. The adjoining, separate kitchen leads to a utility room (shower cubicle). The bathroom (WC/bidet) is located between the living and sleeping areas. The cosy bedroom with sea view is equipped with a fan. All windows and the entrance door are fitted with fly screens.

A TERRACE TO LOVE
Marina Campagna is generally a place of tranquillity, which is only interrupted for a few moments during the day by the passing train as it dives from one tunnel to the next. Otherwise, the motto at Il Patio sul Mare is: relax.
This is particularly easy on the furnished, sheltered terrace. The sea seems close enough to touch and you can enjoy an unobstructed view of it. One of the most beautiful, unspoilt stretches of coastline in the Cilento National Park stretches to the north and south.

WHERE TO FIND WHAT YOU NEED IN PISCIOTTA
The Marina Campagna district is home to one of the best restaurants in Pisciotta. During the summer months, Vito Puglia's Perbacco spoils its guests with excellent fish cuisine and a huge selection of local and national wines. All these delicacies are served in an old olive grove with a view of the sea.

Daily shopping can be done in the mountain village of Pisciotta, around 4.5 kilometres away. There are two small supermarkets, a greengrocer and a butcher's shop in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Pinto. From late afternoon, you can buy locally produced olive oil, cheese and pasta in the Cantina Lamadé below the piazza. Take some time to visit the cantina and plan an aperitif with a delicious antipasti platter.

If you want to spend a classic Italian beach holiday in this part of Cilento, you will find wide sandy beaches with well-organised beach bars and sun lounger hire in the neighbouring Marina di Ascea (approx. 10 km) and in the district of Caprioli (approx. 8 km). We recommend the Lido Mascalzone Latino in Caprioli and La Scogliera in Marina di Ascea.

The flat's cosy, partly roofed, 60 m² terrace is a Mediterranean dream. The long drive onto the property is lined with plants and flowers in vivid colours. Above the outdoor shower a bougainvillea displays its radiantly violet blossoms.

HOLIDAYS FOR TWO AT THE SEASIDE
About 600 m from Il Patio sul Mare and easy to reach on foot lies beach "64", a pebbly coastal stretch frequented mainly by locals and in general not crowded in August either.
Lovely, in 2021 partly renovated Il Patio sul Mare is located on the ground floor of a two-unit house. The hospitable, discreet owners live on the upper floor.

You enter the holiday flat into the living room with dining area. The adjoining, separate kitchen (incl. gas stove, mini oven, fridge-freezer) offers access of a utility room (shower; washing machine). A half-bath (WC/bidet) is located between the living area and the sleeping area, the latter a cozy bedroom (double bed; fan) with sea view.
Il Patio sul Mare also features WiFi, SAT-TV, hair dryer and gas heating (extra charge); it is equipped with carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. All the windows as well as the entrance door are protected by fly screens. A children's bed can be provided.
Parking for one car is available on the completely fenced property. One pet (extra charge) is allowed upon request.

A TERRACE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH
Marina Campagna is in general a place of peace and quiet, which is interrupted during the day only for a few moments by the passing train, which 'dives' from one tunnel into the next. Otherwise the motto at Il Patio sul Mare is - relax.
A good spot to do just that is the furnished terrace, which is screened from view and from where you have got an uninhibited view of the sea. One of the most beautiful, untouched coastal sections of the Cilento National Park stretches out to the north and to the south.

WHERE YOU FIND WHAT YOU NEED AT PISCIOTTA
One of Pisciotta's best restaurants lies in the district of Marina Campagna. During the summer months, Vito Puglia's Perbacco delights your taste buds with an excellent fish cuisine and a large choice of local and transregional wines. All the delicacies are served in an old olive grove with sea view.

Daily shopping is done at the mountain village of Pisciotta approx. 4.5 km off. Two small supermarkets, a greengrocer's and a butcher's are found in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Pinto. In the late afternoon, Cantina Lamadé below the piazza opens its doors; you can choose from among its offer of local olive oil and locally produced cheese and noodles. Do allow for some time at the cantina and for an aperitif as well as a delicious antipasti dish there.

Wide sandy beaches with well organised beach bars and sun lounger rental are found at neighbouring Marina di Ascea (approx. 10 km) and at Caprioli (approx. 8 km), a district of Pisciotta.
