Stromboli welcomes you from a distance - You love hiking? You wish for relaxing peace and quiet? This might then be the perfect accommodation for your holidays in the Cilento.
Villa del Sole on Monte Sant’Antonio between Camerota and Marina di Camerota offers you restful seclusion amidst lush Mediterranean nature and a panorama that is hard to tear your eyes away from.
The location for the terrace of the approx. 60 m² holiday home could hardly have been chosen better.
Under a magnificent olive tree, you will find shade and enjoy a unique view.
From the mountain village of Camerota down to the Marina, which juts out into the sea as a small peninsula, you can look far into Calabria at the mountains of the Pollino National Park.
Standing in front of the driveway to the property, you can even see Stromboli in the distance on particularly clear days.
For us, it was one of the special moments during our visit to the Marotta family on Monte Sant’Antonio. WELL-TENDED HOLIDAY HOME WITH OWN OLIVE GROVE The Villa del Sole is divided into a living/dining room with a kitchen, two bedrooms, and one bathroom, offering space for up to 4 people.
A plot of approx. 7,000 m² surrounds the house.
The pretty, partly very old dry stone walls that crisscross the olive grove belonging to the house lend this place a special Mediterranean flair. You enter the holiday home through the living/dining area with a fireplace.
From the integrated kitchenette, you can always enjoy the panorama of the mountains and the sea while cooking.
From the living area, you can access the adjacent bedrooms (double bed; 2 single beds). A washing machine is available in the well-kept bathroom, among other things.
The windows of the bedrooms as well as the living room are equipped with fly screens. The Villa del Sole and the olive grove are completely fenced.
You can park your car directly in front of the house.
The Villa del Sole also scores points for sustainability.
The electricity supply is completely autonomous via a photovoltaic system. PANORAMA TERRACE, PIZZA OVEN & OUTDOOR KITCHEN The outdoor area of the Villa del Sole is quite cozy.
A long wooden table with benches is ready for convivial evenings.
Next to it is a large outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, a brick charcoal grill, two gas hobs, and a sink.
The entire area is covered, and naturally, you also have a wide view of the sea from here. However, the sun terrace in front of the house offers the perfect place to relax.
A tall olive tree provides shade and creates a particularly idyllic atmosphere.
Make yourself comfortable on the comfortable loungers and enjoy the spectacular view over the sea, the Cilento, the Basilicata, and Calabria.
Hardly any other holiday home will offer you such a breathtaking scenery. HIKING, SWIMMING & SHOPPING From the Villa del Sole, you can set off directly on short and long hikes in the Cilento.
A path leads past the nearby Sant’Antonio chapel, parallel to the coast, directly to Palinuro.
It is also worth the walk down to Marina di Camerota, and then continue towards Cala Bianca and Porto Infreschi. If you want to spend a day at the beach, Marina di Camerota offers a diverse selection of great bathing spots.
The drive from the holiday home to Marina takes about 15 minutes by car. In addition to the town's beaches, Calanca and Lentiscelle, a boat trip to the bays of Pozzallo, Cala Bianca, and Infreschi is also worthwhile.
The Cooperativa Cilento Mare will take you back and forth from the harbor now and then. You can do your shopping in Camerota, about 3 km from the Villa del Sole.
There you will also find bars and restaurants, e.g., Al Castello in the old castle of Camerota.
The restaurant Ammor e Mare in Via Coppola in Marina di Camerota offers very good and traditional fish cuisine. Outdoor kitchen with pizza oven Air conditioning in the living area for a fee. Bed linen & towels: optional; €10 /person per stay.

Ein wunderschöner zweiter Aufenthalt in absoluter Ruhe, ideal zum Entspannen und Ausruhen. Zu der bisherigen Austattung kommt noch eine Hängematte unterm Olivenbaum mit Ausblick auf das Meer- Klasse!

Villa del Sole ist eine bestens ausgestattete und gepflegte Ferienwohnung. Wir waren begeistert. Wunderbarer Ausblick und ungestörte Ruhe. Die Anfahrt ist steil, aber gut befahrbar. Die Strände sind mit dem Auto oder E-bike schnell zu erreichen (es geht auch zu Fuß). Ende Sept./ Anfang Okt. waren au...

Die Anreise war immer etwas abenteuerlich, sehr steil, enge Straße und teilweise unbefestigt. Das Haus war einfach, sauber - mit deutschem Fernsehen(Fussball EM!). Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, sie haben uns köstliche Pflaumen vorbeigebracht. Leider konnten sie kein Englisch-und wir kein Italienisch.
