"De Meerkoet" is a 4-person chalet with a spacious living room and open kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin. From the terrace with hardwood garden furniture and the surrounding garden you can enjoy the water.

If you stay in this accommodation, you can use an electricboat, from the 1st of February until the 1st of November. You can use free Wi-Fi during your stay. The accommodation also has free air conditioning. 

Please note: Vakantiepark Giethoorn is car-free. The accommodations are surrounded by water and can only be reached by a steep pedestrian bridge. Parking is possible in the central parking at Restaurant 't Vonder about 400 meters from the park.

The descriptions, images, specifications, and floor plans of the accommodation are subject to change. In some accommodations, a maximum of two pets per accommodation are allowed on request. If you would like to bring your pet, you must indicate this directly when booking. Additional costs apply per pet. The surcharge per pet is shown when entering your booking details. It is no longer possible to add a pet after completing the booking, as the number of pet-friendly accommodations is limited for each accommodation category.

Holiday in the Venice of the North

The quaint village Giethoorn in Overijssel is sometimes called ‘Venice of the North’. In this village you will mostly find waterways; the ideal place for water enthusiasts! Giethoorn is part of National Park Weerribben-Wieden and consists of authentic farms, kilometres of canals and dozens of bridges. You won’t find any cars, so the best way to explore the village is on foot, by bike or by boat. From 1 February to 1 November, you will have your own electric sloop at your disposal during your stay (excl. Tiny House 2 and Lepelaar hotelchalet 4). If you are booking one of our group accommodations, you can go out by boat all year round, weather permitting. In the centre you can find nice little shops, several museums and different restaurants and brasseries. The area around Giethoorn is a true water sports paradise. Apart from dinghy sailing and sailing, there are also plenty of opportunities for surfing, canoeing and aqua-dubbing. Doesn’t that sound like great fun?

• The main booker must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Only bookings for recreational vacations are allowed at this park. A stay longer than 3 weeks will be seen under temporary housing and is not allowed. As well as the extension or subsequent repetition of a booking. Bookings and travel groups that do not comply with this may be refused.
• The interior and exterior may vary from one accommodation to another.
• If upon arrival it appears that the travel party is not a family, we may charge an additional group deposit of 50,- per person on the spot.
