Air-conditioned flat in the centre of L'Ile-Rousse, 50 metres from the beach
Overlooking one of the most beautiful gulfs in the Mediterranean, in the north-west of Corsica in the heart of the Balagne region, L'Ile-Rousse is a must-see destination combining conviviality and well-being for all the family.
The flats are located in a building dating from 1849, one of the oldest in the historic centre, in the heart of the old town (cota vecchia). Close to the traditional market, you'll find plenty of shops and local produce.
Filled with charm, the flats have been refurbished.
You can indulge in the shady terraces of the cafés, or stroll along a bench and admire the simplicity of life. And if you're looking for a bit of entertainment, a trip to the improvised petanque courts will provide you with some great moments of relaxation.
L'Ile-Rousse is also home to three beautiful beaches of fine sand. There's something for everyone: sailing clubs, jet-skis, towed buoys for the more sporty, sunbeds and sunbathing for the sun-worshippers, not forgetting the favourite playground for our pretty blonde heads who can invent wonderful stories of sandcastles...

You can set off to discover the villages that made its history: Corbara, Monticello, Pigna and Santa Reparata will reveal their secrets to you at the bend of a cobbled lane or a square. And if you feel like it, the hiking trails will allow you to follow in the footsteps of the old muleteers of Balagne.
