Vester Vedsted on the mainland is 11 km away, 6 km of which are mudflats. Please note that it is important to always be aware of the water level on the island.

Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub gewesen. Das Wetter kann man ja leider nicht mitbuchen. Wirklich herrrliche Ruhe. Wir kommen jetzt seit 7 Jahren hierher und das manchmal 3 mal im Jahr!! Eine Oase der Erholung! Bitte nicht weitersagen. Damit hier nicht doch ein Tourismusschwerpunkt draus wird.

Eine schöne Insel, Wetter war sehr gut. Mit Ebbe und Flut hatten wir die ersten zwei Tage noch Schwierigkeiten, aber dann half uns die nette Frau (sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit) aus dem Laden und ab da funktionierte es. Schade war nur, daß man abends in der Gaststätte nicht gemütlich zu Abendessen konnte. Ansonsten kann man die Urlaubsinsel weiter empfehlen!
