A typical house with a sea view terrace in Villanova, a pretty locality close to Ostuni and the main beaches in the area.
The house, with the typical structure of Ostuni houses, has several levels. On the ground floor is the living area with a double sofa bed, dining table and a small breakfast nook with sink, kettle and espresso machine. In a separate room, but without a door, is the double bed with en suite bathroom with shower. Going up to the first floor there is a full bathroom and the terrace, furnished with a dining table and equipped with a shower and sink. From this area there is access to the kitchen complete with dishwasher, electric oven and washing machine.
Air conditioning on the ground floor and heating with heat pump will be available in the accommodation.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its historic centre, blindingly white and immense, culminates in the Cathedral (10 minutes from the flat) that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (600 metres away) and the column of S. Oronzo that majestically protects the town are characteristic.
Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few kilometres away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and enogastronomy, Cisternino, a village recognised as one of the most beautiful in Italy, and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Egnazia Archaeological Park, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic centre and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while moving south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European capital of culture.
The nearest airports are Brindisi and Bari, which are respectively 35 minutes and 1 hour away by car.
