Marie & Guillaume open the doors of a beautiful "fifties" country house typical of the post-war period (1950s) which they have completely restored with care, safely overlooking the banks of the Loire (direct access possible to the river from the property via a small private path), located on the edge of the road (between Diou & Digoin, close to various amenities), in a small residential hamlet.
Considered the "last wild river" in Europe, this magnificent natural space classified & protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for the quality of its exceptional plant & animal biotope (fish, mammals, birds, insects, amphibians, etc.), is home to a axis of migration, reproduction and nesting for many species, some of which are very rare (Atlantic salmon, large shad, sea lamprey or eel; waders, kingfisher, bank swallow, European bee-eater, etc.). Beautiful hilly Charolais countryside to explore in the surrounding area, bucolic environment of fields & bocage meadows along the Loire, nestled under the wooded ridges of a vast wild forest massif (to be discovered during peaceful walks or mountain bike rides), surrounded by unspoilt nature & agriculture.
