The population is approximately 300 inhabitants.

The village is situated on the Großer Regen river in the Bavarian Forest National Park, about 4.5 km to the Biathlon Center and about 6.5 km to the valley station of the Großer Arber ski resort.

A stop for the ski bus is located right outside our front door. An experience in summer and winter. A particularly inviting hiking region in the Bavarian Forest is the Arber massif with its 1,456-meter-high summit, our Großer Arber.

Here with us, you have numerous opportunities to explore the beauty of the "Green Roof of Europe" and embark on exciting tours.

Whether on a leisurely stroll or a challenging day hike on one of the numerous Goldsteig trails – the Bavarian Forest and our Großer Arber will enchant you with its many facets.

The snow-covered forests and the cold, clear air will make your winter hike on the Großer Arber an unforgettable experience.

From the mountain station of the gondola lift, a dreamlike hiking trail leads up to the summit.

From there, it continues over the summit plateau to the Großer Seeriegel and Richard-Wagner-Kopf, the two famous sub-peaks of the Großer Arber.

A special highlight is snowshoeing.

This beautiful alternative to skiing or snowboarding is the optimal source of peace and new energy.

Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge, cancellations between 14-7 days before arrival will be charged at 50% of the total cost, and cancellations within 7 days before arrival will be charged at 100% of the total cost. **Unit Description** Our chalets are approximately 20 sqm in size and can accommodate up to 3 people.

All chalets have a double bed and a sofa corner.

An extra bed is available upon request.

A shower and toilet are available.
