Holiday in the Jewel of the Rauris Valley This is "So authentic!" The Rauris Valley, at around 950m above sea level, is spectacular.
It doesn't require oversized adventure parks to be integrated into the landscape – this valley, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, achieves this all on its own. Rauris is referred to as the "secret jewel" of the National Park, which is evidenced by the following natural specialities: In addition to lush alpine pastures and glaciers, the centuries-old Rauris primeval forest, with its protected and exceptional treasures, as well as the Rauris Urquell (original spring), are impressive.
Over 300 precious springs, imposing waterfalls, and crystal-clear, icy mountain streams bear witness to the region's abundance of water.
Alongside all these natural treasures, a real treasure can also be unearthed.
Gold was mined here until the last century, and it is rumoured that up to 120 tons of the precious metal still lie dormant in the mountains. Your hut holiday – genuinely cozy & genuinely charming With a view of the famous Sonnblick, you start your holiday day in the Rauris Valley.
The overwhelming mountain panorama captivates you at the sunny breakfast table, and only the gentle ringing of cowbells brings you back to the here and now. And rightly so, because countless hiking and mountain biking tours await you, for example to the Stanzalm, Mitterastenalm Lercheggalm via the Kolm Saigurn high-altitude trail or to the Niedersachsenhaus. Retreat to your cozy home Your charming alpine hut is truly homey.
The owners have spared no expense or effort to bring this magnificent hut to shine for Almliesl guests.
Wood dominates here.
The creaking wooden floor and the massive ceiling rising to the open gallery create an authentic atmosphere.
The large tiled stove and the cozy living room contribute to the comfort. Be inspired by these hut highlights as well: Regionally typical wood-burning stove for cooking and heating Decorated with original Gmundner Keramik High-quality selection of spices provided for guests Spacious, well-maintained garden & furnished terrace Water trough with the best Rauris mountain water, potable quality After your extensive day in nature, a relaxing barbecue evening should be on the agenda.
Depending on your preference, a gas grill or a charcoal grill is available.
You can purchase the appropriate barbecue food and many more delicacies at "Kathrin's Laden". The hut owners run the popular Gasthof Andrelwirt in the valley, about 8 km away.
Feel free to stop by and enjoy the regional specialities of the house. Tip: The hosts recommend a visit to the "Valley of the Vultures" – in Krumltal.
The kings of the air circle here.
So don't forget your binoculars. Note: The open gallery (Juchee) is not sufficiently secured against falls and is therefore not suitable, especially for small children. De ligging is subliem. De hut is heel gezellig en charmant ingericht met veel details en goed voorzien van allerlei voorraden.
