The Domicil Uno (3 stars) has 80 square metres of living space and is on two floors. When you enter the Domicil, you walk past the stairs and through a door into the large living room. The centrepiece is the wood-burning stove. The living area begins next to the wood-burning stove with the long stove bench that stretches along two walls to the outside. Here you can spend evenings worthy of their name, and whole afternoons can be spent relaxing here. Perhaps also because the living area has a real cork floor. To the right, the room flows into the open-plan kitchen. Communication is important! That's why the design of the kitchen allows the current cook to prepare the food and at the same time take part in the life of the main room through eye contact and conversation. The kitchen offers all kinds of electrical helpers such as a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, coffee machine, egg boiler and kettle. The kitchen counter merges into a dining table. Sitting here, you have a view of the kitchen, the fireplace and the terrace. You can keep in touch with civilisation with the built-in television, the programmes are pre-cooled in space and then sent back from a satellite. If the programme is not so good, we have placed a Playstation 3 next to it. So don't forget your favourite games. The two bedrooms are on the first floor, each with a double bed. The bedrooms are acoustically separated from the large living room by their own floor, so that those who want to sleep can do so, even if you haven't found an end downstairs yet. The bathroom and sauna are also located on the first floor. The sauna is small, but it fulfils its purpose: after a long walk in the cold, you can soak up the warmth here. The furnishings are generally of high quality. In addition to cork, tiles are used as flooring throughout, which is pleasant and hygienic. All windows are made of real wood. Both houses have the same exterior design. A characteristic feature is the bay window, which offers a good panoramic view from the inside and cosy seating areas from the outside. The houses are two-storey with a 15-degree pitched roof. This not only looks good, it also offers optimum utilisation of space. The houses face each other with their bay windows, creating an inner courtyard. This means there is always a good chance of finding a sunny yet windless spot. The colour scheme and style of the house try to capture some of the warmth of the south, so that you feel at home even on days with less sunshine. To the east, the view is of a pleasant little cobbled street with no through traffic (if you don't count the pedestrians). The road ends a few metres further on at the coastline. The rear of the property faces west, towards the Parow forest castle, a romantic forest hotel from the beginning of the last century. The castle is flanked by flat-roofed bungalows. On this side, Casa del Mar is protected from the wind and views by the buildings.
Note on pets
No cats and no fighting dogs! Only dogs with a shoulder height of up to 40 cm.

Location

The houses are located at the end of Förster-Schrödter-Straße (dead end and traffic-calmed area). You can walk directly to the beach in your bathing suit, as the exit to the beach is less than 50 metres away (stairs with steps - easy to manage but not suitable for wheelchair users). The coastal cycle path and the forest are even closer to the house. A bakery, supermarket, tourist information centre, restaurants, dentist… are all within a radius of 500m to 1000m.
