Description of the apartment
The Sonnenröschen flat is located on the first floor. In the large living and dining room, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Edersee and Waldeck Castle through the window front. The small kitchen is located opposite.
Two spacious bedrooms offer additional retreat options. The large balcony with lake and castle views adjoins the front bedroom. The bathroom with two windows has an almost floor-level shower. A flat to feel good in!
The free WiFi is only suitable for simple queries such as
emails or Google. It is not suitable for streaming music or
videos or for working from home.

Our holiday flats are located on a large property in a quiet location on the edge of the forest. The main hiking trails Kellerwaldsteig and Urwaldsteig run below the property. The nearest national park entrance is just a few hundred metres away at the end of the corner path in Waldeck.
The centre of Waldeck with its
grocery shop and restaurants is just a quarter of an hour's walk away, and you can reach Waldeck Castle
just as quickly. The Ederseebahn cycle path on a former railway line is 1 km downhill from the house and leads towards Edertal and
Korbach. You can reach the Waldeck riverside promenade in a few minutes by car or in about 30 minutes on foot.
Nearest tourist information centre: Waldeck Marktplatz in 1 km
Nearest bus stop: Waldeck Eckeweg in 300 m (line 510)
Nearest train station: Bad Wildungen in 14 km, Korbach in 24 km
Nearest swimming opportunities: lido in Waldeck in 3 km or lido Rehbach in Hemfurth-Edersee in 12 km
