The apartment is located in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, in the wine village of Hambach.
The 45 steps up to the apartment are rewarded with a great view over Hambach and the Rhine plain, all the way to Heidelberg with the Odenwald, and with good visibility, even to the Black Forest.
Hambach lies at the foot of Hambach Castle, the cradle of German democracy, only approx. 300 meters from the Palatinate Forest, surrounded by vineyards.
The Palatinate Forest is popular for its beautiful hiking trails and cozy huts.
In the village, you will find nice restaurants, several wineries (some with wine shops), a supermarket, a bakery with a cafe, and a public outdoor swimming pool.
