Casa Ferrari is a historic house in Varenna with a splendid lake view, located just a stone's throw from Lake Como.
Recently renovated, the original style has been deliberately maintained to give a touch of originality in both the architectural style, with the vaulted ceiling of the spacious living room, and the furnishings.
The house is the perfect blend of old and new. The ample spaces, the wonderful lake views offered by the numerous windows, and the central location make it exactly what you would want in Varenna! Casa Ferrari is spread over three floors.
The living area on the first floor consists of a large living room with a decorative fireplace, comfortable sofa beds, a dining table to enjoy excellent Italian cuisine, a small balcony with a lake view, a table and chairs for sipping a good glass of wine at sunset, a bathroom with a bath/shower, sink, bidet, and toilet, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The second floor houses a small study with a table where you can relax reading a book and gazing at our lake, and a large double bedroom.
The "gem" of the house is the third floor, an attic loft with a visible wooden roof, the ideal place to enjoy the lake view relaxed on the comfortable sofa beds and admire the colorful sunsets typical of Varenna and Lake Como. The house is equipped with: WIFI, TV, dishwasher, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, microwave, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and everything you need for a complete stay. VarennaHolidays staff were very helpful and responsive. Lines of communication were always open, and we felt very confident and supported throughout the whole process. The property was lovely-- great views, very good location, excellent restaurants nearby, close to waterfront and the ferry. The number of steep steps came as a little bit of a surprise.

Varenna Holidays made it easy for our stay, provided information and recommendations that we appreciated. They even helped coordinate...

Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice.
