About the Host Enjoy cozy living in one of Wilnsdorf's oldest houses.

After a major renovation of "Mechels Huss," three guest apartments have been newly furnished in a rustic-modern style for you.

The half-timbered house, built in 1676 and known by the house name "Mechels," is one of the oldest houses in Wilnsdorf and is located in the old town center, which extends around the Protestant church.

The building, originally constructed as a farmhouse, was used as such for many hundreds of years until we began the extensive renovation of the building in 2005 and awakened it from its slumber.

Today, the half-timbered facade shines in its original brown and white colors, and the redesigned garden with its fragrant flowers and herbs invites you to spend cozy hours on the terrace.

The first guest apartment is located on the ground floor of the main house.

It was completed in 2011 and designed to be barrier-free, as it is important to us that this apartment can be used by people with and without disabilities and that you feel completely comfortable with us.

In the adjacent building, which we also extensively renovated from 2018 to 2021, two more extraordinary apartments await you, featuring a very special atmosphere combining old building substance and modern interior design, where you will immediately feel at home and enjoy your stay in a relaxed manner.

The infrastructure in Wilnsdorf is well-developed.

Here you will find everything you need for your daily requirements.

The shopping center is within a few minutes' walk.

Besides the daily necessities, you will also find several cafes and the folklore museum.

The upper center, the university city of Siegen, with its extended offerings, is about a 10-minute drive away.

Should you wish to visit the nearby metropolises of Cologne, Dortmund, or Frankfurt am Main, you can reach them in about 1 hour.
