Inspired by the Italian Medieval Lord of the same name, the PAOLO GUINIGI elegant Apartment Suite showcases masterful interior design.
A sophisticated ambiance engulfs you upon setting foot inside.
The open, airy space is filled with plush velvet furniture, lacquered and lavish décor, and a charming mix of textures and statement pieces.
In 2 minutes, reach the famed Piazza Anfiteatro and Via Fillungo to see historic architecture and monuments. Fascinating greys, persuasive whites, enveloping dark tones and pops of gold and silver complete the colour palette.
Tasteful antique prints and standout artwork adorn the warm walls.
The fully equipped kitchen, featuring finest Italian cabinets, joins the refined living room, effortlessly allowing meals to be transported between the two. Dine under the glittering lights of the ornate chandelier that drips above the stylish table and velvet chairs.
A quaint location, offering picturesque views of Lucca, is the perfect spot to sneak away for a moment of reflection. A 1-minute walk will land you at the Torre Guinigi—the iconic tower with oak tress on the top that is built on the top of Lord Paolo Guinigi mansion dating back to 1200s. Of course, a trip to Italy wouldn’t be complete without indulging in the many gastronomic offerings; seek out a low-key trattoria to savour authentic, handcrafted pasta, fresh pecorino (sheep’s milk cheese), salami, gelato, and a bottle of local wine.
All of the city’s most im-pressive sights, the San Frediano, San Michele, Piazza Napoleone, San Martino and the Puccini Concerts at San Giovanni are nearby within a 5 mins walk away.
Safe guarded parking is located on the premises and just 2 blocks away.
Use your car or catch a train at the nearby train station (just 10 mins walk away) for a day trip, make sure you set aside a few hours to explore Tuscany in all its glory: Pisa (20 mins), Florence (40 mins), Pistoia (30 mins), Montecatini Terme (20 mins), Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi (20 mins), Cinque Terre and La Spezia (60 mins), Siena and Arezzo (70 mins), Volterra and San Gimignano (60 mins), Livorno (25 mins), Chianti Wine Country (45 mins). When in Lucca, stop back in for a quick lunch at PAOLO GUINIGI APARTMENT SUITE.
The contemporary kitchen has everything you’ll need to craft memorable meals, maybe even try your hand at traditional Lucchese cuisine.
Rather keep it casual? Just grill up fresh specialties from the nearby typical groceries.
Back inside, the dining table beneath the chandelier is the perfect place for a special announcement. When your feet are tired from exploring, find something fun on the Smart TV and stretch out on the sofa.
Keep up with work or send holiday pictures to friends with reliable hi-speed Wi-Fi. Light up some candles, take a glass of wine, and catch up on some reading while you listen to your favourite music through the audio speakers. After a day walking around and clearing your mind with the incredible views offered by a walk up on the walls, head to Michelin starred Il Giglio for dinner, where fresh seafood and produce from the Tuscany area are always on the menu.
It’s right down the street from the apartment, making it an easy stop before a night of Puccini classical music con-cert.
Eating vegetarian? Il Punto is Lucca’s best.
For traditional dishes and flair, hit La Buca di S. Antonio.
